Trembling Steps

"She isn't angry. She isn't hopeful. She is simply done. For tonight, she is done trying to pick up what cannot be saved"


She felt so strong in that one moment.
To help the ones in need is easy to pick up people who have fallen down doesn't take much courage. But to lift people up who have wronged you  is a rare strength to find.
She has loved him so dearly. Even In her anger even  in her hurt she has loved him all the same.
And again today she will put them down. Her pains her sorrows her anger her questions.. She will put them down to lift him up.
She knows he has done her wrong. She knows she is broke inside. Shattered like glass pieces that she wouldn't dare to pick up she knows they'll hurt her again..
All the times he forgot to care. All the times he forgot to consider.. All the times he overlooked her sorrow.. She is ready to give up the pains of those times..and ready to forgive him..if this is what he really wants..
So she's asking him again.. What can she do for him.. For him to be happy.. For him to be happy again.. She's keeping her other questions away.. Because she knows nothing he did was intentional.. No hurt sowed in her heart was meant to.. He wronged her when he knew not what seeds of sorrows he has in his hands..  she asked him today where his true happiness lies.. She's willing to give him everything that it will take.. She's willing to let go of all the pride
All the ego and all the anger.. Just so he can be happy .. Even if his happiness lies away from her.. She wouldn't refrain because she loves him so.. Because that is what love is.. Putting your bundle of happiness away just to get that smile on his face..right...? 
And so for the last time she asked him... 
 giving him what it takes she turned away.. To face the world .. With strengths she knew not she had..
She has surprised herself again...with the power of love she holds in her and the strength to forgive  .. She has surprised herself again.. Giving you your piece of hope to move ahead.. letting go of everything that held her back letting go every wrong that was never corrected.. She went away...

The loud noises coming from the kitchen woke him up with a jolt. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the alarm clock on the table. It was 8AM. Already. He was late. To my astonishment I dived in again. The same way. Maybe deeper this time. Aren't we the same forever. We want everything in life. Knowing. We wont have everything. We keep sailing our boats. Unless you know what you truly want.

I am going through a stage in my life where I have to make some of the most important decisions. Just when I feel over-burdened with this responsibility, weighing each possible option and their consequences I began to realize how fortunate we are who have the chance to get to choose. Only sometimes you get a choice. Because there are times choices are made for you and there are those times too when you have no choice at all. If you are one of those lucky few who have this chance to choose you will often see yourself standing at the face of a fork end of the road. And suddenly the great lines by Robert Frost run through your mind.. "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both" The question still lies there. Which one should I take. One road takes us on the path of fight and other takes us on the path of a flow.
